Next Steps Learners - Along the Way

Testimonials from families along the way.

  • Catherine Wimpey's evaluative work and educational therapy, both in terms of her methodology and positive approach, were deeply effective when we needed support the most. Not only did she provide executive function and reading therapy for our son, but we also found her report and in-person sessions so helpful that we asked her to assess our non-dyslexic daughter too. These experiences have served all of us well!

  • Thank you so much for helping Wang Mei to build her 'tool box' to help her write in English. She showed me how to write "P.O.W." on her paper to keep focus and pick a good idea. I did not think this would work, but I was wrong. She also likes the smiley face sticker to put on the paper - it makes her feel happier. Thank you and we will all keep working on this 'tool box'.

  • I've never seen Maria as concentrated and serious at school before. She loves school even now during the lockdown. I honestly think that's because of your enthusiasm and understanding of her. She loves you as a teacher. So thank you for that!!

  • Thank you so much for helping our son find his strengths, for helping his teachers understand his unique profile, and for guiding him in building his 'toolbox' to help him find success in his school setting. It was a turning point for him to start to build a healthier self-esteem, and to believe he could learn effectively and demonstrate it to his teachers. He could articulate his strengths in reasoning skills and use this to draw conclusions and make connections that in turn helped him apply specific tools to read, write or solve number problems. I am so grateful for your kindness, patience, determination, and deep understanding of how his amazing brain works!
